Former Bollywood actress and now an author by profession, Twinkle Khanna made her writing debut with the novel Mrs Funnybones in 2015. Her second novel is titled as The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad followed by Pyjamas Are Forgiving. The 45-year-old author is known for her witty writing style which is why all her books gained immense popularity.
Twinkle, who is married to Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar, is quite active on social media platforms sharing her latest reads with her fans as well. Recently, Twinkle took to her Instagram account where we spotted singing praises for celebrated Indian author Ruskin Bond. She posted a picture of herself with a Bond’s novel and wrote: “Ruskin Bond has been one of my favourite authors and I was rather thrilled when I heard about @zee5 Parchhayee – Ghost stories by Ruskin Bond, as I am both terrified and fascinated by ghosts!”
Known for children’s literature, Bond has written books on a variety of genres. A few handpicked ghost stories by Ruskin Bond were adapted to turn them into a web series for ZEE5 this year. Produced by Banijay Asia & Opus Communication, Parchhayee is a must-watch intriguing series.
