Maye Musk, the mother of tech billionaire Elon Musk, launched the Hindi version of her popular memoir A Woman Makes a Plan at an event in Mumbai. The Hindi edition is titled Jab Aurat Sochti Hai and was released in collaboration with Rajkamal Prakashan.
The launch event turned even more special because it was also Maye Musk’s 77th birthday. She shared her excitement on social media, posting pictures from the celebration and expressing her happiness about meeting her Indian publishers on such an important day.

Along with pictures of the book launch, Maye also posted a photo of the beautiful birthday flowers sent by her son, Elon Musk. She thanked him warmly for the gesture.
During her Mumbai visit, Maye Musk also took time for a spiritual outing. She visited the Siddhivinayak Temple on Easter Sunday, accompanied by Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez. Dressed in a simple yellow printed suit, Maye participated in the temple rituals and received blessings.
Maye Musk’s memoir, first published in English in 2019, talks about her personal and professional struggles, her journey as a single mother, and how she built a successful career in modeling and nutrition. Through her life stories, she encourages readers to stay strong, follow their dreams, and not let age or tough times hold them back.
The Hindi edition aims to make her inspiring story available to a larger audience in India. Speaking about the book, Jacqueline Fernandez said, “Maye’s story shows us that dreams have no age limit. Her journey is truly inspiring.”
In related news, Elon Musk has confirmed he plans to visit India later this year, ahead of the much-awaited launch of Tesla’s electric vehicles in the country.
